About Jon Wright
Jon Wright's Biography
A bit about me:
I’m just an ordinary guy, your friendly neighbor who waves while working in the yard or strolling through the neighborhood. I was a “daddy-taxi”—sometimes a coach--when my kids were playing youth sports and enjoyed every minute of it. I yell at the television during cringe-worthy moments, and laugh out loud when watching re-runs of Talladega Nights or any of the Austin Powers movies.
I love dogs. Especially rescue dogs.
Beginning in my college days at the University of Georgia, I have been passionate about college athletics, particularly SEC football and baseball—Go Dawgs and Hail State!
In my professional journey, I’ve navigated business development, marketing, and operations across various industries, even venturing into small business ownership.
But beyond this, I’ve proudly shared over 29 years of marriage with Kristen and wear the title of “Dad” to my two grown children, Taylor and Garrett.
My grandmother’s wisdom echoes in my mind: “Right is right, and wrong is wrong.” I strive to be the best version of myself, bring pride to my family, and lend a helping hand whenever possible.
In June 2016, I ventured into the world of publishing with my first book, Tight Lines & Good Selling.
